Aims, contents and method of the course

The GIS course aims at providing knowledge to apply GIS in geomorphology. Furthermore, the course provides the application of GIS-tools, which will be used within the according project seminar.
Within the course, geomorphological mapping and geomorphometrical analyses will be carried out. Moreover, rock fall and soil erosion will be modelled. The exercises will be based on data from Vorarlberg.
