Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will be presented with ideas and a range of methods of how to take gender roles into account in their teaching.
Students will share, reflect and discuss their own moral values and gender roles.
The study of texts will get students acquainted with the topic.
A topical emphasis will be put on globalisation, anticipation of one`s personal environment, political education, east-west networks and co-operation in a wider Europe, development of the world`s population and reproductive health, regional development and planning.
Methods: mental mapping, group work and panel discussion, role play, drama, working with texts, methodical elements taken from "Zukunftswerkstätten" and mediation.
Students should evaluate the use and practability of the presented means and methods.
