Aims, contents and method of the course

During the first part of the course the basics of scientific theories will be discussed with texts. Based on that, seletcted ecosystem theories will be examined and critically questioned.

Presentations and protocols of discussions.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The critical understanding of scientific theories in ecology should be encouraged.
