290156 EX Project-orientated Excursion Inland - Cartography (Geo-Multimedia in Practice) (2008S)

Participants will have to realise a geo-related multimedia-project in practice. Thereby, all relevant activities in the business world will be part of the exercise: project planning, data acquisition, generation of applications etc., as well as financing and marketing. Hence, the students will have to take over different roles (project conductor, project coordinator, consultant, ¿), which can be a crucial advantage for their future career. In the course of this excursion it is intended to visit several Austrian multimedia-companies in order to discuss the potential of geo-visualisation in this profession through expert-interviews.
