Aims, contents and method of the course
The European Cohesion Policy is one of the main goals of the European Union. In the strucural funds period 2007-2013 the three objectives of the European Union are: Convergence, Regional Competitiveness and Employment, and European Territorial Cooperation.
Assessment and permitted materials
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Learning objectives: the course goal is to attain a comprehensive understanding and reflection of the economic and social disparities within the European Union together with strategies of regional development. After successfully completing this course, students will know the structures of regional development and policy in the European Union including the different level of administration (EU, meber state, regions).
