Aims, contents and method of the course

Regional foci of the excursion to Thailand are the Greater Bangkok Metropolitan Region, the Central Region, the Eastern Seaboard and the Eastern Region and Thailands South. The main topics of the excursion are: problems of megacity development, urban planning and megacity management; patterns and problems of industrialization in the ¿Eastern Seaboard Region¿; tourism development along Thailand¿s Eastern Coast; rural development in Southern Thailand and impact of mass tourism (Phuket).
