Excursion:
The 4 1/ 2- day trip takes 4 days (with sleepover in the spring areas of the City of Vienna) from Fri., 31st March - Mon., 3rd April 2017 and half-day in Vienna on Wed., the 17th May 2017 13:30-19:30 instead .

The presence in the preliminary discussion is STRICTLY PERSONAL required! Who is NOT present, can definitely NOT attend the field trip! Fee for the excursion : 150 Euro. This amount is payable on the day of the first meeting - on 3. 3. 2017 (beginning 15:00) - directly personally at me ! Who has NOT paid can NOT participate the excursion !

There is the division of the ride-students on the two available institut buses, nominating the bus drivers and all the important information about the excursion schedule and about to composing excursion protocol. Furthermore, an introductory lecture takes place in the excursion subject.

Aims, contents and method of the course

Field Trip: The Water Supply of Vienna - Structural System and Fundamentals of the Physical Region

How works the Viennese water supply? Viewing the facilities an the fundamentals of the physical region: beginning at the storage "Rosenhügel" in the urban area to the springs in the catchment are in Lower Austria and Styria taking account of scientific research projekt in context of karst-research (geology, hydrology, karst-hydrology, biology/vegetation, forest-ecology, snow-measurement-programm, GIS-model).
