Aims, contents and method of the course

History of Cartography, Part two
The second part of these courses in the History of Cartography deals with the period "From the Second Half of the 15th Century up to the end of the 18th Century":
- the oldest methods of map reproduction (woodcut, copper plate engraving)
- Incunabelprinting
- The development of worldmaps in the 16th century
- Regional cartography in the 16th and 17th century
- Atlascartography in the 16th and 17th century
- Centers of Cartography in Europe in the 16th and 17th century
- The reform of cartography in the 17th and 18th century
