Aims, contents and method of the course

Focusing on a well-founded theoretical basis of the main geographical education objectives, the independent use of modern cartography with temporary teaching material is a fundamental aim of the curriculum. The significance of printed, as well as digital cartographic products, their qualitative and didactical applicability for educational usage will be explained and discussed.

Assessment and permitted materials

Die Note setzt sich zu jeweils 50% aus den abgegebenen Programmen und der digitalen Prüfung zusammen.
Ein positiver Abschluss ist ab einer Gesamtbewertung von 51% sowie permanente Anwesenheit in den Lehrveranstaltungseinheiten gegeben.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The lecture aims at providing an in-depth look into the methodology, conception and applied use of modern cartography and geo-communication in the field of secondary education.
