Aims, contents and method of the course

How works the Viennese water supply? Viewing the facilities and the fundamentals of the physical region: beginning at the storage "Rosenhügel" in the urban area to the springs in the catchment area in Lower Austria and Styria taking account of scientific research projects in context of karst-research (geology, hydrology, karst-hydrology, biology/vegetation, forest-ecology, snow-measurement-programm, GIS-model). The Exkursion takes 4 days.
