Aims, contents and method of the course

This seminar aims at discussing the polarisation phenomenon both theoretically and empirically. In particular we will look at the causal relationship between inequality and economic growth. The seminar will provide basic knowledge for the conceptualization of re-distribution policies that enable a more inclusive economic development.

The method of the seminar is that every student has to prepare and present a speech of about half an hour, which will be followed by discussions.
