Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This course is concepted to continue the course Labormethoden in der Physiogeographie. Complex methods for chemical soil analyses will be presented and students will learn to analyze selected samples. The focus of analyses is on parameters related to the nitrogen and carbon cycle. Students will be familar with methods currently used in research projects at the division of Geoecology.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation, data handling and calculations, presentation of results.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Participation during the course is compulsary. Active participation during the course, contribution to data handling and calculations, and the quality of the final presentation will be evaluated.
Examination topics
Analytical methods, nitrogen cycle.
Reading list
Literature will be provided during the course.
