Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Informations about the main regulations of land law, spatial planning law and building law, especially spatial planning regulations on "Gemeinde"-level (land use plan und builidng regulation plan); informations about the distribution of competences and the connnection of the various land and planning regulations. In Austria a complicated system of the distribution of powers is laid down in the Federal Constitution, which divides legislation and adminstration between the Federal Government and the States.
Important aspects about the main contents of building regulations (Bauordnungen) and spatial planning laws (Raumordnungsgesetze) of the "Länder"; informations about the setting up procedure, contents and legal effects of land use plans and buidling regulation plans; informations about building permits and the procedures in context with erection of buildings.
