Compulsory subject for the study branch "Cartography and Geoinformtion" and optional subject for other study branches like "Theoretical and Applied Geography" and others.

Based on the lectures on "Thematic Cartography" (general methodology) the course deals with general methods of thematic map use (printed media and electronic media) and the application in the following fields:
