Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Starting with the climate system the students should be made familiar with the basic concepts of climatology and hydrology. This encompasses the discussion of the frame within climate evolves and a simplified description of selected processes. Based on that, different possibilities to visualize climate will also be shown as different ways to classify it. The close interaction between climate and the water circulation, which can be subdivided into storage terms and fluxes between them, will also be presented for different spatial and time scales. For the written exam there will be lecture notes available at the end of the semester. This lecture is an introductory course for Geography students in the first year.
Assessment and permitted materials
Die Beurteilung erfolgt auf der Basis einer schrifltichen Prüfung im Ausmaß von 60 Minuten Dauer!
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Die Prüfung umfasst 5 Fragenblöcke mit in Summe bis zu 10 Detailfragen! Es können maimal 40 Punkte erreicht werden. Folgende Beurteilungszuordnung gibt es dafür: bis 20 Punkte ergibt sich ein NICHT GENÜGEND; ab einer Punktezahl von 21 bis einschließlich 25 wird die Prüfungsleistung mit GENÜGEND, von 26 bis 30 mit BEFRIEDIGEND, von 31-35 mit GUT und ab 36 mit SEHR GUT beurteilt!

Es gibt dafür Lernunterlagen als Pflichtliteratur! Diese werden dann spätestens Ende März/Anfang April 2019 den Studierenden als .pdf auf der Lernplattform zur Verfügung gestellt!
