Assessment and permitted materials
The exam will be held digitally with attendance in the GIS and MM lab. Please complete the necessary group registration in the Moodle course (additionally to the u:space registration).Exam with single-choice and multiple-choice questions.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
In order to receive a positive evaluation of the lecture, the written examination must be passed (min. 23 points).

Earth observation represents a major information source for geo-applications. New fields of remote sensing application are evolving due to the improvement of spatial and spectral resolution. But data acquisition alone is not sufficient to benefit from these technological developments. It is rather necessary to apply methods and techniques for transforming the huge amount of data acquired by satellite sensors into useful information for the different fields of application.Lecture with discussion
