Aims, contents and method of the course

The course offers an introduction to (relational) databases. The following topics will be discussed: definitions, E/R-model, relational model, SQL

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The aim of the lecture is to give participants insight into (relational) databases. Furthermore, the students should be equiped with basics of the SQL syntax.

Examination topics

Lecture, discussion and practice with MS Access.
