Aims, contents and method of the course

The excursion will lead to the largest industrial and commercial zone in Lower Austria, the "Industriezentrum NÖ Süd". Main focus will be on the evaluation of economic site development according to principles of gender mainstreaming and criteria of gender planning. Selected methods for a gender evaluation of business locations, infrastructures, site utilizations and building structures (like site inspection, mapping and interviewing) will be explained and practiced.
The excursion accompanies the proseminar "Regional development in practice: Implementation of gender mainstreaming" (course number 290435). Those attending the proseminar will be given preference in participation. Maximal number of participants: 15.
