Aims, contents and method of the course

The STUDENTS of Geography and Economics/ Teacher Training for Higher Schools are trained to become coordinators for Preparation for Choice of Study and Occupation at Higher Schools.
Main topics
o "Preparation for the World of Employment and Occupation" as a teaching principle in the entire canon of subjects of primary and secondary AHS
o Variants of implementation in teaching ( project variant, compulsory optional subject, module)
o Career Guidance and Life Management
o Extracurricular cooperation for the teaching of Career Guidance (BIWI, Volkswirtschaftliche Gesellschaft, AK Wien L14), cooperation with enterprises (e.g. Opel Powertrain, AUA) and schools (GORg 21 Gerasdorferstraße and GRg 21 Franklinstraße 26)
o "Gender-Mainstreaming" and Career Guidance
o Realistic meetings (school and business explorations)
o Application training (for the application at a school) "Application - How to advertise myself"
o Coaching for graduates
