Aims, contents and method of the course
Introducing feminist critiques and contribution to globalization and transnationalism studies. Analyzing gender dimension of transnational migration from, to, and within Asia. Examining transnational arrangements of personal life such as transnational family, marriage migration, and the global outsourcing of care and reproductive labor. Exploration of methodological possibilities and ethical issues in conducting transnational feminist research.
