Ecosystems evoloved and are evolving under changing climates. The role of climate and climate change in the Differentiation and functioning of different ecosystems are central issues of the course.

Discussion (10%), presentation of seminar (30%) seminar paper (60%)

Developing an understanding for complex interrelations in the formation and Differentiation of ecosystems.
Forming a perspective in evaluating the influences of recent climate change on ecosystems.
