Aims, contents and method of the course

Das Seminar soll ein kritisches Verständnis der Muster, Prozesse und Auswirkungen der ökonomischen Globalisierung in geographischer Perspektive vermitteln. Das Programm orientiert sich vorrangig an dem bekannten Lehrbuch von Peter Dicken: "Global Shift, Mapping the Changing Contours of the World Economy" (7. Aufl. London: Sage 2014. 648 S.).

Examination topics

Jede(r) Teilnehmer(in) hat ein mündliches Referat (30 Min. + Diskussion) zu übernehmen und das Thema als Hausarbeit auszuarbeiten. Die Themen orientieren sich an den Kapiteln des Lehrbuchs von P. Dicken, doch sollte weitere Literatur und ggf. weiteres Datenmaterial herangezogen werden, um beispielsweise auch einen Bezug zu Österreich herzustellen.
