How to structure and prepare a speech
Basic rhetorics
•Design and usage of powerpoint
Integrating and using emotions of the audience
Maintaining the tension
classical presentation technique versus modern presentation technique
Feedback and feedbackrules

Aims:
You know basic communication concepts which are relevant for presentations.
You can define aims for a presentation and carry out an analysis of the target group.
You are able to prepare a presentation and know methods to maintain the central theme.
You know how to maintain tension and how to adopt to the characterisitcs of the target group
You gather first experience in presenting and have a good portion of feedback to think about.
You gain first experiences how to maintain contact to the audience and how to keep the tension.
You know how to give and receive feedback.
You know methods how to deal with stagefright.
You know further methods to developyour personality and to develop charisma.
You defined a goal to work towards in future presentations.

Assessment and permitted materials

The evaluation consists of the three parts of the course

Elearning assignments
Feedback and reflexion of the individual presentations
Final exam

During presentations and e-learning tasks, all avalaible ressources can be used.
For the final exam, a sript will be provided.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To get a positive mark, it is necessary to carry out a presentation including audience.
