Assessment and permitted materials
The final score consists of: 1) Active participation during the field class and presentation in the field 2.) written individual work 3.) written group work
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Compulsory attendance at the kick-off meeting! No late arrival or early departure possible during the field class. The maximum amount of points achievable is 42 (active participation and presentation: 11 pts, individual work: 17 pts, group work: 14 pts).

The specified objectives of the course will be achieved by applying the relevant methods in tutorials and independently in small teams. The use of different equipment will be practiced. Requirement for the course is a fundamental knowledge in physical geography, taught in the introduction courses.Course: In the beginning of the field class a physical geographical introduction of the study area is given. Students are expected to apply field techniques in teams. Additionally, the gathered data has to be analyzed and interpreted by the students.
