Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The courses on landscape ecology are based on the lecture "Introduction to landscape ecology" (WS 2013/14) and focus on the integration of topography - soil - vegetation - land use in different study areas.
Assessment and permitted materials
Cartographic presentation of the results and written report.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The students should be enabled to identify and record complex interrelations in landscapes in the field. They will learn to map and describe those interactions.
Examination topics
Independent surveying in the field, mapping and describing the results in small working groups.
