Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This proseminar is aimed for students in the 2nd stage of studies in teachertraining for the subject "Geography and Economics" in secondary schools:
In the last years in schools in subjects like Geography as well, IKT ist used in a growing number of classes. This affects the instructional use of offline-media as CD-ROM/DVD, a wide variity of virtuel schooltextbook-supplements and a number of different ways in blended-learning scenarios. Blended-learning combines elements of e-learning with learning/teaching in classroom-presence and the combined use of different teaching materials.
Aim of this course is to get familiar with selected Austrian and foreign examples of this new teaching tool. Students should learn specific geographic-didactical and methodical analyses by using existing offers. Finally they should be able to prepare an simple application for the use in "geography and economics".
The proseminar is supported by an open virtual website combined with interactive elements - URL : http://homepage.univie.ac.at/christian.sitte/FD
