Aims, contents and method of the course

Field Trip: Different Topics of Physical Geography in the Vienna Region
The one-day field trip is designed as an introduction to field observation in Physical Geography. Different topics of Physical Geography will be presented and explained on various places in the area of Vienna. The focus is on the demonstration of connections and interaction which can be analysed in the field. Knowledge of the fundamental course in Physical Geography is advantageous.
The distance between the places of interest are covered 'per pedes', by public transport or by bicycle.
