Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This lecture introduces key perspectives on Global Change and Sustainability Transformations drawn from the fields of Population and Economic Geography. It aims to familiarise students with core concepts, major debates, and recent conceptual as well as empirical advances in both fields. The lecture series enhances students’ understanding of how population and economic geography perspectives contribute to explaining global change and to critically assessing alternative pathways to sustainability.
Assessment and permitted materials
Final exam (Multiple-Choice-Test). No materials allowed.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Multiple-Choice-Test: maximum of 80 points; pass: minimum of 41 points
0-40 points: insufficient (fail)
