Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture discusses the organization, development and function of nervous system lateralization with a special emphasis on the genetic programs and developmental processes. In a comparative approach between humans and vertebrates as well as insects the principles of interhemispheric asymmetry in animal behavior and human neurological diseases will be presented. Recent publications will be introduced in short presentations.
