Aims, contents and method of the course

This lecture (together with the seminar: "transition studies" held by Clemens Grünbühel) tries to describe the complex interactions of human transitional societies. Various aspects of this transition will be presented in their theoretical and practical aspects. Special attention is drawn to case studies all over the world.
