Aims, contents and method of the course

Topics of this course are human evolution and animal domestication, animals in agriculture, animals as pets, animals as friends of the human, animal assisted therapy, psychological, social, evolutionary and medical aspects of the human -animal interaction

Art der Leistungskontrolle: Prüfungsimmanente Lehrveranstaltung, Verfassen einer Seminararbeit, Präsentation der Seminararbeit

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Vermittlung eines umfassenden Bildes früherer und bestehender Tier-
Mensch Interaktionen; inhaltliche Erfassung der Anthrozoologie.

Examination topics

Seminar für Studierende der Anthropologie, aber auch aller
anderen Studienzweige; Literatur wird bereit gestellt
