Oral exam at end of semester
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Get an understanding of the scopes and limits of theoretical approaches to evolutionary biology. Be able to read and understand the relevant literature. Only basic mathematical background is required.
Examination topics
Mainly lectures. May involve some exercises on paper or computer. After an introduction of the basic methods, the course will be structured according to biological questions, with additional methods being introduced along the way.
