Aims, contents and method of the course
Als Ergänzung der ethnobotanisch - phytochemischen Exkursion werden lokale Märkte, Gärten und Plantagen in Thailand besucht und ausgewählte Pflanzenarten auf bioaktive Naturstoffe untersucht. Zunächst werden dabei im phytochemischen Labor in Bangkok Rohextrakte hergestellt und durch Bioassays und einfache chromatographische Vorfraktionierungen interessante Inhaltsstoffe erfaßt. Detailliertere phytochemische Untersuchungen werden abschließend in Wien durchgeführt.
