Lecture starts on Tuesday, 2019-03-05, 09.00-10.00 am (for group 1 and 2) and on Wednesday, 2019-03-06, 09.00 - 10.00am (for group 3) in experimental garden "Augarten", Obere Augartenstraße 1a, 1020 Wien.

Aims, contents and method of the course

In this practical class main emphasis is placed on theoretical background (plant physiological, ecological context) in the following fields:
Germination physiology and allelopathy, plant breeding and cultivation, working mechanisms of phytoeffectors, knowledge and cultivation of indoor and outdoor plants.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Positive passing of the written examination (a minimum of 50% of possible points is required)

Examination topics

Plant physiological and horticultural knowledge imparted in the theoretical introduction on the basis of the script and the presentations used.
