Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Students will get familiar with the diversity of animal vocalizations, sound generating and perceiving mechanisms (ears) as well as the communicative significance of sounds in fishes, frogs, birds and mammals.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Ziel der Lehrveranstaltung ist es die Studierenden mit den Lautäußerungen, Lautbildungsorganen und den Hörorganen von Fischen, Fröschen, Vögel und Säugern, sowie deren kommunikativer Bedeutung bekannt zu machen.
