Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The student will get an insight into the ultrastructure of different plant cells using transmission electron microscopy. The studied samples will also be investigated using light- and scanning electron microscopy.
Assessment and permitted materials
1. Participation during course and 3 written exams at the end of each unit (c. 15 min).
2. Written protocol including results from own research (PDF).
2. Written protocol including results from own research (PDF).
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Prerequirements is the successful participation in the course “300002 VO STEOP: B-BIO 2 Einführung in die Biologie II (2022S)". Students should be able to identify, describe, and document the ultrastructure of different plant cells. Students will learn how to operate electron microscopes.
