Die Vorbesprechung und Gruppeneinteilung findet am 08.10.2015 um 15 Uhr im Konferenzraum der Zoologie, Biozentrum Althanstraße 14, 1090 Wien, statt.
Während des Kurses erfolgt die Arbeit in Kleingruppen, Termine werden je nach Forschungsthema in der Gruppe koordiniert. Gemeinsame Termine für alle Gruppen sind am 5.11., 10.12. und 28.1. jeweils vom 15-17h im Konferenzraum der ZoologieInformation
Aims, contents and method of the course
The goals are to define experimental design and data collection techniques; to analyse the results statistically and lastly to interpret and present the project in oral and written publications.
Assessment and permitted materials
Oral presentation of the results and written report.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The aim is to implement scientific methods in research projects carried out in the field and/or lab. Students work in small groups on novel, unanswered projects.
