Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Students know anatomical-histological plant structures. They have aquired the technical skills for analysing plants anatomically (sections) complemented by diagnostic histochemical methods enabling them to adequate interpretation

Aims, contents and method of the course

The plant cell: cell structure (protoplast,
plastids, cell wall); meristems and primary tissues; vegetative anatomy: roots, herbaceous and woody stems (primary growth and
secondary growth), leaves: leaf development, leaf types.

Assessment and permitted materials

Theorieteil: schriftlich
Praktische Kenntnisse: wahlweise durch Abschlußklausur oder mündliche Besprechung
Beurteilung der im Praktikum angefertigten Zeichnungen
Aus diesen drei Teilnoten wird eine Gesamtnote gebildet

Examination topics

Einführender Vortrag, anschließend unterstützte selbstständige Bearbeitung von Präparaten.
