Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The student will carry out small, well defined research projects under supervision of a lab member of the Department. Possible topics are the analysis of gene expression of developmental genes by in situ hybridisation, cell cycle analysis under various conditions, nervous system analysis by antibody stainings or bioinformatic analyses of transcriptomes or genomes.
Assessment and permitted materials
Prüfungsimmanent.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The student is able to carry out a well defined research project and can apply standard laboratory techniques of molecular, cell biology and organismal biology. The student can present his/her results in an oral presentation and write a Bachelor thesis summarizing the results of the project.
