Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Using selected species and habitats as models, we will address important issues of the ecology of diurnal Lepidoptera under high-altitude conditions. We will especially focus on use of nectar sources, strategies of mate-location, thermal ecology, habitat fidelety and suitability of bioindication. The course will take place around the field station of the Haus der Natur in the national park Hohe Tauern.
