Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The lecture provides a comprehensive overview of the principles of cognitive biology. The main approach is to put cognition in relation to animal behavior and evolution. After a brief outline of the history we will present basic principles and main approaches to animal cognition.

Exam, multiple choice, in English
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To gain an understanding of the principles of animal cognition and cognitive ethology and get an overview of the main approaches to this topic.
