Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Select one of the 3 topics to choose from – which will form a group of four people; each member will choose one of the four original research papers within this topic. Prepare a 20 min engaging talk explaining the research question, the main research variables and how they were measured, and the results. Followed by a Q&A session/discussion of 10 min. Afterwards each participant will be (randomly) assigned a stakeholder position that you will defend in a debate style. Conclude with how each paper contributes to understanding the main topic. Total time per topic is a half day (morning or afternoon).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Marks will be given for the quality of the talk (40%), quality of debate (40%), and engagement in the discussion (20%).

The four pdfs for each of the four human-animal interaction topics will be available on Moodle and group assignments will be discussed on 01.04. To prepare for the debate a reading list will be provided.
