Become acquainted with central concepts with regard to aquatic systems: Island Biogeography - lakes as inverted islands; Metacommunity Theory; Biodiervsity-functioning hypothesis; species-energy hypothesis
Examination topics cover cover the ecological concepts that are communicated in the lecture.
