Aims, contents and method of the course
We will review and discuss recent scientific literature on soil and ecosystem ecology as well as general biogeochemistry and microbial ecology (journal club format). This class will additionally focus on the improvement of writing skills.

he course will be graded according to the following:
1) make one oral presentation (25 points).
2) write one written assay (50 points).
3) Active participation in discussion (25 points).
