Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
How to design and carry out an ecological field study? The course covers the selection of study-sites, collecting and sampling strategies (e.g. nets, pitfall traps, light traps, mark-release-recapture methods, transects), analysis and interpretation of the collected data and will be carried out in day- or night-excursions. Study areas are in Donau Nationalpark.
Assessment and permitted materials
Written project report about the sampling methods and results obtained during field work. Further information will be given in the initial meeting on 11.03. 2014.
