Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar is a companion event to lecture 300076 VO: "Beyond Networks." It aims at further developing foundational concepts of evolutionary systems biology, and provide insights into current research, through the study of primary literature in the field.Students will be assigned keystone research papers in the field of evolutionary systems biology during the initial discussion.Students will present their assigned paper (with relevant background) in an oral seminar.
Assessment and permitted materials
50% oral presentation, 50% participation in discussions.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
This seminar is an elective part of the Master Evolutionary Systems Biology, but is also open to other Master studies.The language of the seminar is English.
