Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The excursion will be held in the eastern part of Austria. The aim is to give an overview of flora and vegetation primarily of habitats below the timber line and their biogeographic relationships and history, for instance with respect to Pleistocene refugia. Many of the visited habitats and the presented species are of nature conservation concern, accordingly such aspects will be covered as well.
