Aims, contents and method of the course
This course offers an intensive training to get familiar with several methods in plant physiology, eco-physiology, applied plant physiology and primary production. The stress physiological impact of environmental factors on to the photosynthetic light conversion and gas exchange; the changes in water relations, the modifications in functional plant (leaf) anatomy and the control of germination processes (including allelopathy) are carefully analysed and differences are statistically evaluated in relation to applied plant physiology in horticulture, agriculture and forestry. The course is designed to support research activities of diploma- and doctoral students.
