Aims, contents and method of the course
Behavioural Ecology deals with the adaptive value of behaviour and aims for an understanding of mechanisms underlying behavioural decisions. An extensive body of theoretical and experimental methods have been developed to study the evolutionary causes of behaviour. This course serves to help advanced students in their scientific approach towards evolutionary mechanisms underlying behavioural variation.
