Aims, contents and method of the course

Basic introduction to general forms of some animal groups in Austria, their mode of life and distribution. Some of the lectures introduce to special habitats with their faunal elements and their evolutionary adaptations.

Schriftliche Abschlussprüfung, für einen positiven Abschluss müssen mehr als 50% der Antworten richtig sein.

Die Studierenden haben einen Überblick über die heimische Fauna und charakteristische Lebensräume in Österreich; sie erkennen ausgewählte Tiergruppen und können beispielhaft über ihre Lebensweise berichten.
